Alta Quartzite roofing is a natural and nice decoration for any roof. It is often the natural choice in the Nordic countries and near the Italian Alps. The tradition of using the stone creates not just beautiful roofs; it is also one of the most durable roofing materials available. Italian roofing slabs traditionally are used in larger quantities in the Alps near the Mont Blanc: in Italy in the Aosta region, the Savoy and Haut Savoy counties in France and in the Wallis canton in Switzerland.
